Meet her and Karen Montgomery at the opening Saturday, 2 Queen St Burra at 11.00am. |
Gardening isn't just about plants, find creative ways to use what you have. Leanne Stockman's garden has alot of stones, brilliant the way she's used them to create the look of a riverbed.

Music in the garden at 10 Thames St Burra
Many of us in the Mid North have been lucky to hear Tamarisque playing at Heritage Garden in Clare. We're lucky to be having playing at Open Gardens during the weekend. Drop in to Graham's garden to relax and listen, don't miss the morning and afternoon tea. What a treat this is.

Live the Good Life2pm Saturday-$ Patterson Tce, FARRELL FLATKaren will be in farrell Flat to look at a garden where Sally and Garry Fieldhouse do their version of Tom and Barbara. See their garden and find out how they work at using both organic guidelines and sustainablity to create a productive and fulfilling lifestyle.

Something from nothing10am Sunday-Petherton Rd, MT BRYANLeft is an example of how someone else's discard can become your treasure. We won't have anything quite this flash, but there'll be a selection of objects you can turn into planters. Barrie, who owns the garden, will supply you with a cutting, Karen will help you with the propagation, then you can pot your treasure up to take home.
Barie is collecting for the Kidney Foundation-any amount would be appreciated. |
Keith Jackson-Sculpture workshop1 1am-Ilfradale, Mt Bryan East rd, MT BRYANKeith loves to fossick, he's spent years working in the country before turning his hand to making something from his farm dump finds. One piece is so impressive, it was exhibited at Government House during SALA. Let Keith tell you how he selects items, then join him to choose a range to make a sculpture. You'll be part of history, with the sculpture being on display at next year's event.
